What are SG AUTHENTIC Cosmetics?

What Are SG Authentic Cosmetics?

I know most of you have already encountered SG Authentic Cosmetics. Most of you must have already heard a make-up seller stating that their Mac is SG Authentic. They would say that their make-up is called SG Authentic because they were from SG or shipped without taxes, cheaper than the usual authentic because there are no stalls or business establishment rentals and such.
I had several experiences with SG Authentic Cosmetics. Because before I did not know how to identify the authentic products. And I believed that they were really from SG. Dissatisfied with the product, because they do not have good quality, I researched about SG Authentic Cosmetics .
SG Authentic Cosmetics means replica, fake. So when the seller tells you that SG Authentic Cosmetics are made in SG, definitely it's not true. Singapore is strict when it comes to authenticity of the brand. Mac from SG is also the same from United States' Mac or PH's Mac. They have the same quality and definitely the price is not as cheap as what they call SG Authentic. There is no MAC Lipstick that costs P100.00 or less. Original Mac in PH costs P1000.00 or P800.00 usually in online stores. Be careful in buying because SG Authentics are rampant nowadays. Take note, they carry other high-end brands aside from MAC.
If you are a seller of SG Authentic Cosmetics, it is better to inform your buyer that your product is just a replica and not authentic. Don't insist that your product is original from Singapore.
There is nothing wrong if you want to save money or you are buying SG Authentic. But you must know the risks of buying fake products. Should there be any bad side effect of the product, you can't file any lawsuit because you do not really know the manufacturer of the product you bought. If you really want to save money, just buy drugstore makeup brands like Nichido or Ever Bilena that are also good brands of cosmetics. Buying SG Authentic Cosmetics can be risky. Be careful.

  2. Thank you for your boldness in sharing your opinion on SG Authentic. In my 3 years of wearing SG authentic makeup, I am satisfied with the products I wear. As a true makeup person I intend to try all makeup products that are available to buy. I even tried China brands like Qianyu, Kiss Beauty, Miss Beauty and Aily. So far all of it are good. I also own original drug store brands like F21, Nichido, Careline, Everbilena and San San cosmetics. As for calling the SG authentic fake; do we really have a more plausible proof that those of fake? How come the cosmetic companies such as MAC, Urban Decay and Nyx aren't running after them? Just a food for thought my fellow makeup lovers...

    1. Hi there Ms.Rociel. Thank you for reading my blog post. Like what I've said, nothing is wrong with using SG Authentics as long as you know the risks. Glad that they worked well on you. As for calling them fake, and why original brands do not run after them, yes they are fake because the packaging and the quality is different from the original ones. (This is based on the SG Authentics that I've tried). I am not sure if original brands filed a complain or what but fake products are very rampant nowadays even with shoes and bags, who would they run after? But I remember one time when I talked to a NYX beauty consultant, she told me that they are complaining about a store who sells fake NYX products. Not sure what happened after.Nothing is wrong in using these products but sellers must not insist that what they sell are originals. Hope this finds you well... Thank you and stay beautiful... :)

    2. Hello again,
I just like to thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. Yes the SG authentic products worked for me and to my friends as well. But I do patronize original brands that are cost effective like Elf, LA colors, G - lish and Fashion 21.

    1. Hi sis, for me, if the seller says that the Cetaphil is SG, still there is a chance that it is fake. And we know the real price of Cetaphil, far from 250.00 :)

  5. Hi. Aside fromcosmetics, SG bath products are rampant nowadays. Would you know if these are considered fake as well?

  6. I made a research about this. I also found a few company profiles of the companies supplying these products. They have a laboratory, factory, etc, and they are mostly in southeast asia. It is fake, as they produce unlabeled makeups among other things. They copy the original one's packaging, quality (like if its matte, gloss, waterproof etc), but that's where the fakeness ends. These companies also needs to secure permits, licenses and undergo quality control to make sure products are not harmful. Come to think of it, for some expensive products like the now rampant Kylie is mostly expensive because its under a famous celebrity, but it doesn't mean that they have the best quality out there. Who's to say that their products are not made by the same ones who does the replicas, or by its subsidiary?

Smashbox Photo finish Primer versus Benefit Porefessional Primer

Smashbox Photo finish Primer versus Benefit Porefessional Primer   First of all, Happy New Year and Happy Valentine's Day... Hahaha... Yes blogging is back; it was never gone. I was just too focused with my corporate job but I am here now... and we will keep the ball rollin' So today, I will be reviewing 2 primers; Smashbox Photo Finish Primer and Benefit Porefessional Primer. It would be a comparison review. But let me define what a Primer is. Primer is a product applied on the face prior to foundation to ensure that the surface or canvass will be smooth, poreless, refined and sometimes used to prolong the staying power of the foundation; as it also can control oil. Imagine painting your wall? We use primer first before the paint right? Same thing on our face. There are difderent types of primers but today I will just focus on the 2 mentioned brands; Smashbox and Benefit. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe those brands are part of the high-e

Review for Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer

REVIEW FOR CELETEQUE HYDRATION FACIAL MOISTURIZER First of all, thanks for giving Grasya's Diary a sight. Today, I will be giving you an updated review for Celeteque Hydration Moisturizer.  I used to have oily skin, but due to some topical treatments and cleansers, I got a combination skin after. There were dry patches after weeks of using my creams so I asked my derma if I can use a moisturizer. She told me I can but I just need to put  on to dry patches in order for me not to have an oily face again. I was  confused with her statement because I know that even you have an oily skin, you must still use a moisturizer, just pick a water-based then.  So I still use it for the whole face hehe. I was using Myra-E before but I feel it's kinda heavy on my face so I tried this Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer.  Again, to reiterate, can we use Moisturizer even we have oily skin? Yes. Oil is different from moisture. Sometimes our skin tends to oil-up because it needs mo

First Impression Review for iWhite BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream Happy Valentine's Day girlies. As usual, I apologize for being missing in action because I am into the corporate world again. But as promised, I won't be giving up beauty blogging.  Today I will be giving my honest review for iWhite's latest product, the BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream. I saw  this product in the group, The Make Up Revolution PH in Facebook (if you haven't join the group yet, please check it out because the latest beauty news are there) . Knowing iWhite, it was known for products that are very much affordable. I have tried their nose pack in which I was not satisfied (will be posting my updated review soon ). But though I was not satisfied with their nose pack, I still wanted to try this BB Cream because it is so affordable. So let's get it on. CHARACTERISTICS: The claims: For those who are new in the Make-up World, BB Cream is a blemish balm or beauty balm,
