Review for Fashion 21 Two Way Cake with Milk Moisturizers

Review for Fashion 21 Two Way Cake  with Milk Moisturizers

Hi girls!!! I hope you enjoyed reading my previous review for Nature Republic Blackhead Clear Nose Pack and tonight will be another night for a review. This time I will be sharing you with you my verdict for Fashion 21 Two Way Cake with Milk Moisturizers. Yes, with moisturizers. I know I have oily skin but I took the risk because of its perfect yellow undertone shade.

First of all, for the newbies in the make-up world, Two way cake means they can be used with a wet or dry sponge.

I learned about this product through Ms. Bing Castro when I watched one of her videos wherein she mentioned this product and there she shared that she loved it. I became so interested because this is powder is super yellow undertone. I rushed to Watsons to purchase the product. There the Beauty Consultant explained to me that since I am oily, I should not choose the said powder. But compared  to other variants, this variant has the most significant yellow undertone shade. Other variants are with tea tree oil, papaya and the normal two way cake. So yes, I got the Two Way Cake with Milk Moisturizers. I only bought the refill because this is only for trial. Make or break!

Above is how the packaging of the refill looks like. Sorry for the messy packaging. But what's included is the powder in a pan. No sponge included. If you want to buy the whole product including the compact, it's the one with a white case with mirror and compartment for sponge that costs around P190-P195.00.
I bought the refill at 140.00 and I got the shade no.2 as they only have 3 shades available.

It says that it can be used over a liquid foundation and can be used with a dry or dampened sponge. Good thing that even I just bought the refill, it has all the information especially the ingredients and manufacturing date. By the way it also has SPF 35.

On my way home, I was thinking where I could put the refill. It would be messy in ny kit. I remember that my mom has finished her Nyx Stay Matte not flat powder so I got her compact and it perfectly fits. So for girls who have extra compacts, just buy the refill first since you are not yet sure if the product will work for you.

For the application, I am really not used to applying two way cake with a dampened sponge. It feels so heavy on my face. So I just used the product as is with my old sponge. I tried using a powder brush but the product is not so pressed so there are products wasted as the powder becomes "almost crushed"

The application is very easy because the powder is really smooth. And it smells so good. It smells like vanilla. Yummy smell.  The coverage is medium to full. I think it's full when used with a dampened sponge.

My face with the powder alone. The finish is matte. And very flawless. It can be used on its own.

For the longevity, this is where I have proved that the beauty consultant was right. It will just make my face oilier because of the moisturizers. After 3 hours, t-zones are already shiny. After 4 hours, I blotted and retouched. It's ok again. But come after 6 hours, my whole face is super oily. Usually I just  oil-up on T-zones but when I looked closely,my whole face is oily. Sadness :( I loved the powder but not the oiliness it gives my face. Maybe I can use this when my face is dry. (When will that be? Haha)

I also tried using this over a matte liquid foundation but the result is almost the same.

Same finish. Flawless but I oiled up a lot. But I still use the product to set my under eyes since it is super yellow undertone.

PROS:
-very affordable
-has significant yellow undertone
-smells so good.
-with spf 35
-packaging of the refill has all the needed information
-it gives flawless finish

         CONS:
-refills do not come with a sponge
- it's not well-pressed
-It makes my skin super oily

                     FINAL THOUGHTS:

It's a thumbs up. Though the product is not good for my skin-type, it still did it job. Knowing that it is really not for oily skin, I still gave it a try and most of its characteristics impressed me.

Repurchase? NO. Since it is not good for my skin-type.

Recommend? YES. To those who have normal to dry skin. I think this product will do wonders on you.

Thanks for reading !!!!

Review for Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer

REVIEW FOR CELETEQUE HYDRATION FACIAL MOISTURIZER First of all, thanks for giving Grasya's Diary a sight. Today, I will be giving you an updated review for Celeteque Hydration Moisturizer.  I used to have oily skin, but due to some topical treatments and cleansers, I got a combination skin after. There were dry patches after weeks of using my creams so I asked my derma if I can use a moisturizer. She told me I can but I just need to put  on to dry patches in order for me not to have an oily face again. I was  confused with her statement because I know that even you have an oily skin, you must still use a moisturizer, just pick a water-based then.  So I still use it for the whole face hehe. I was using Myra-E before but I feel it's kinda heavy on my face so I tried this Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer.  Again, to reiterate, can we use Moisturizer even we have oily skin? Yes. Oil is different from moisture. Sometimes our skin tends to oil-up because it needs mo

Smashbox Photo finish Primer versus Benefit Porefessional Primer

Smashbox Photo finish Primer versus Benefit Porefessional Primer   First of all, Happy New Year and Happy Valentine's Day... Hahaha... Yes blogging is back; it was never gone. I was just too focused with my corporate job but I am here now... and we will keep the ball rollin' So today, I will be reviewing 2 primers; Smashbox Photo Finish Primer and Benefit Porefessional Primer. It would be a comparison review. But let me define what a Primer is. Primer is a product applied on the face prior to foundation to ensure that the surface or canvass will be smooth, poreless, refined and sometimes used to prolong the staying power of the foundation; as it also can control oil. Imagine painting your wall? We use primer first before the paint right? Same thing on our face. There are difderent types of primers but today I will just focus on the 2 mentioned brands; Smashbox and Benefit. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe those brands are part of the high-e

Review for Naturactor Cover Face

Beautiful day ladies! Today I will be reviewing my favorite foundation this season. Yes, for this season because I tend to change foundation. For those who are asking, this is the same review posted in my FB Page but I just did some revision with the format and with the wordings as well. Why am I so into this foundation?  Do I love this product? Let us see. So here's the verdict :  CHARACTERISTICS: ● Naturactor is a make-up from Japan and I love Japan make-ups. It was named Naturactor Cover Face since it is really a concealer but because of its good coverage, it can be used as a foundation.  ●The texture is velvety, and is a cream-type of foundation. ●It smells like an “oldies make-up”. What I meant was the scent of the make-up before of our grandmoms has quite difference with today’s fragranced make-up. If you are sensitive with the smell of a make-up, this may be an issue.  VARIETY: ● Cover face has 5 shades, but there are also other variants as shown belo
