Review for Pinkies Collection Liner Pencil

REVIEW FOR PINKIES COLLECTIONS LINER PENCIL

Hi girls. Forgive me for blogging on a Good Friday. Due to a busy work schedule, this is the only time I can blog. But yes, I was already able to pray and took part with the Holy Week Activities. Well actually, this is not the only season we should do that hehe. We should pray and repent everyday.
Anyway, let's go back to the make-up world. Tonight, I will be giving my honest to goodness review for the Pinkies Collection Liner Pencil. I do not actually know how to call it properly because I bought 2 shades ;  one says it's a smooth silky long eye and lip pencil and the other one says it's a smooth silky long liner pencil. Well the shades and the characteristics are not approved for me when it comes to being an eye liner because it's too creamy and the shades are not for eye liners I think (but there are blue shades, maybe those are really intended for the eyes) so the review for this pencil is it being a LIP LINER. And I'll just call it LINER PENCIL all throughout this review.
Why did I purchase these liners? I am a lipstick addict and most of the time I try to explore different shades of lippies but also I have a budget to manage. There is no "takal" when it comes to lipsticks so I must be able to look for the cheapest lippies. And lip liners or liner pencils answer my problem. I love liner pencils because they are very pigmented, matte and cheap. Let's see if this particular brand made me happy. Let's start.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Pinkies Collection Liner Pencil is a typical lip liner. Well technically, lip liners are use to create an outline of the lips to have a bolder and more defined look. But as I have said, I use them as a lipstick.

Pinkies Collection Liner Pencil has a creamy texture that glides on your lips easily.

VARIETY:

Pinkies Collection Liner Pencil has lots of shades to choose from . I got the shades NUDE and HOLIHOOD.

Swatches...

Nude on the left and Holihood on the right. Nude is a coral nude shade and Holihood is a deep purple shade.

INGREDIENTS:

Not indicated.

SIZE:

2.2 grams

PRICE:

P89.00

PACKAGING:

Pencil type that is longer than usual lip liners. It comes in a pink wood that has a plastic cap.

APPLICATION:

What I love about this is that it's really easy to glide on your lips. It won't hurt your lips unlike the usual lip liners. It gives a creamy-matte finish. But since it's a pencil type, sharpening is more often unless you want the wood to touch your lips. hehe...

WITHOUT FLASH

NUDE

HOLIHOOD

WITH FLASH:

NUDE

HOLIHOOD

You can see how opaque and pigmented these liners are.

PERFORMANCE / LONGEVITY:

I was quite impressed with these liners. Very opaque, very pigmented and did not bleed. Did not give me a feeling of dryness nor tackiness. But since it has a creamy matte finish, it did fade especially on the inner part. But it left a stain making the appearance of fading not so noticeable. It seemed like it did not have a drastic fading. Usually after I eat, I remove my lippies because I do not like the oil from food mix up with my lipstick. It's easy to remove.
It will stay on your lips as long as you do not eat super oily food. What I just don't like with the shade NUDE is that it's not flattering on my skin-tone. It made me look darker. Usually coral shades are not good on me but HOLIHOOD on the other hand made me look vibrant and gave me a brightened-up look.

AVAILABILITY:

The product is available at Pinkies Collections  Beauty Counters. (Watsons and others)

PROS:

- Very affordable and longer than usual lip liners.
-  Lots of shades to choose from.
- It lasts long.
- Very opaque, very pigmented and did not bleed.
- Did not give me a feeling of dryness nor tackiness.

CONS:

- confusing description ; if it's for the eyes or lips. Well as I have said maybe some shades are intended as eye liners.
- Nude shade made me look darker than my real complexion.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I love it! Thumbs up.

I recommend this to those who like using several shades of lippies and who are in a tight budget.

Repurchase? Yes. Will try other shades.

Smashbox Photo finish Primer versus Benefit Porefessional Primer

Smashbox Photo finish Primer versus Benefit Porefessional Primer   First of all, Happy New Year and Happy Valentine's Day... Hahaha... Yes blogging is back; it was never gone. I was just too focused with my corporate job but I am here now... and we will keep the ball rollin' So today, I will be reviewing 2 primers; Smashbox Photo Finish Primer and Benefit Porefessional Primer. It would be a comparison review. But let me define what a Primer is. Primer is a product applied on the face prior to foundation to ensure that the surface or canvass will be smooth, poreless, refined and sometimes used to prolong the staying power of the foundation; as it also can control oil. Imagine painting your wall? We use primer first before the paint right? Same thing on our face. There are difderent types of primers but today I will just focus on the 2 mentioned brands; Smashbox and Benefit. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe those brands are part of the high-e...

Review for Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer

REVIEW FOR CELETEQUE HYDRATION FACIAL MOISTURIZER First of all, thanks for giving Grasya's Diary a sight. Today, I will be giving you an updated review for Celeteque Hydration Moisturizer.  I used to have oily skin, but due to some topical treatments and cleansers, I got a combination skin after. There were dry patches after weeks of using my creams so I asked my derma if I can use a moisturizer. She told me I can but I just need to put  on to dry patches in order for me not to have an oily face again. I was  confused with her statement because I know that even you have an oily skin, you must still use a moisturizer, just pick a water-based then.  So I still use it for the whole face hehe. I was using Myra-E before but I feel it's kinda heavy on my face so I tried this Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer.  Again, to reiterate, can we use Moisturizer even we have oily skin? Yes. Oil is different from moisture. Sometimes our skin tends to oil-up bec...

First Impression Review for iWhite BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream

First Impression Review for iWhite BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream Happy Valentine's Day girlies. As usual, I apologize for being missing in action because I am into the corporate world again. But as promised, I won't be giving up beauty blogging.  Today I will be giving my honest review for iWhite's latest product, the BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream. I saw  this product in the group, The Make Up Revolution PH in Facebook (if you haven't join the group yet, please check it out because the latest beauty news are there) . Knowing iWhite, it was known for products that are very much affordable. I have tried their nose pack in which I was not satisfied (will be posting my updated review soon ). But though I was not satisfied with their nose pack, I still wanted to try this BB Cream because it is so affordable. So let's get it on. CHARACTERISTICS: The claims: For those who are new in the Make-up World, BB Cream is a blemish balm or beauty balm, ...
